Price Fusion is coming soon to the Shopify App Store. We haven't published any customer results yet, so there are no customer figures or case studies on this page. The calculator below gives an illustrative estimate from two quick answers.
Answer two quick questions to explore your potential extra profit.
Roughly how much do you sell directly to customers in a year? An estimate is fine. If easier, you can just type your number.
Example store shown: £3m a year, sales most months. Change the answers to yours.
At 2 points: £15,000 extra gross profit a year, £9,000 after your plan cost. The shaded band is the 1 to 3 point range above.
Illustrative estimate using assumed pricing improvements, not measured results for your store. Actual results may differ, including no improvement.

Your answer to question 1 is your direct-to-consumer sales for a year, after discounts and returns and excluding VAT. Wholesale, and any channel Price Fusion can't price (for example a marketplace with its own pricing), is left out. A monthly figure is multiplied by 12.
From question 2 we assume a share of those sales is sold at a promotional or marked-down price. These shares are planning assumptions for independent retailers, not results from Price Fusion stores:
| Rarely or never | 5% of sales |
| A few times a year | 15% of sales |
| Most months | 25% of sales |
| Always have products on sale | 35% of sales |
| Not sure | 15% of sales |
We then assume smarter pricing and trading lifts gross profit on those sales by 1 to 3 percentage points of their value. The scenario planner lets you try other figures from 0.5 to 5 points.
extra gross profit = annual sales × promotional share × 1% to 3%
Figures are rounded to two significant figures. The plan cost is the monthly list price × 12, excluding VAT. “After your plan cost” takes the plan cost from the rounded figures shown. Nothing you enter here leaves your browser.
